- A. Barton Hinkle on the IRS’s Power Grab at Reason.com. For the record, I’ve been calling the preparer regulation initiative a “power grab” for more than a year.
- Anthony Nitti is really broken up over the collapse of the late-night TV tax settlement industry, except for the “inordinate amount of joy” part.
- Jason Dinesen asks, answers the question “Do Extreme Couponers Pay Tax?” Not on their savings, they don’t.
- Roger McEowen reminds us that even with an IRS-provided blanket extension, Estate Tax Returns Now Potentially Coming Due From 2010 Deaths
