Jay Anderson, CPA

Jay is our tax Managing Partner, and he leads our executive financial services practice. He has extensive experience in tax issues of high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, financial planning and closely-held businesses.

Tim Breitbach, CPA

Tim’s 25+ years of public accounting experience includes extensive involvement in the banking industry and in mergers and acquisitions.  Tim has also worked extensively with manufacturing and wholesale companies.

Brian Cheese, CPA

Brian provides auditing , accounting and consulting services primarily to manufacturing, distribution, community bank and not-for-profit clients.  Brian also has extensive experience providing audit services to employee benefit plans.

Greg Clausen, CPA

Greg’s extensive banking experience, includes loan review, compliance and internal audit services. A banking industry veteran who returned to public accounting, Greg specializes in providing auditing, loan review and acquisition services to community and regional banks.

Wayne Floerchinger, CPA

Wayne provides a range of client services to community banks, including tax planning and compliance and trust department examination services. He also has a diverse client base of retailers and wholesalers and manufacturers who rely on his prompt, efficient and personal service.

Joe Kristan, CPA

Joe is the Roth & Company Tax Technical director. A respected tax technician, Joe’s practice includes real estate, manufacturing companies, closely-held businesses, and foreign-owned U.S. operations. Joe works regularly with partnership taxation and corporate acquisitions and restructurings. Joe frequently teaches at tax schools and is an author of articles for technical and general publications. Joe also writes the Roth & Company tax weblog and e-mail newsletter.

Terry Merfeld, CPA

Terry is a tax service partner, working with clients in community banking, manufacturing, service industries  and ag-related businesses.

Doug Ross, CPA

Doug brings a client’s perspective to the practice of public accounting. After an initial 8-year stint with a national public accounting firm, Doug became the controller for a closely-held Central Iowa manufacturer with over 100 employees and distribution facilities in several states. With over 20 years of combined public and private experience, Doug understands Iowa manufacturers and wholesalers.
